This wooden, chalet style bungalow overlooks the larger of Aberporth’s two sandy beaches. The Ceredigion Coast Path runs very close to the front door and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is 12 miles away.

The accommodation consists of two bedrooms (one king-size double bed, two single beds), a living room with wood burning stove, (some wood provided, October to March), conservatory, kitchen and bathroom with an electric shower over the bath. The kitchen is equipped with ceramic hob, fan oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and filter coffee machine.  There is a small, secluded terrace to the rear of the property and sufficient parking space for two cars.

Availability:- for the latest availability dates, please email or phone  01594 862 802.

Aberporth is a small village 5 miles north of Cardigan and the river Teifi. The village has a pub, small supermarket, chemist, hardware store and two restaurants.  The beaches are the main attraction for those with children but there are plenty of scenic walks in the area – the closest being from the cottage along the coastal path, to Tresaith - a mile north of Aberporth.

The beds (a five-foot double and two singles) have duck-down duvets and pillows.  Many visitors bring their own bed linen and towels, but these can be provided at a supplementary cost.  Visitors to the cottage are required to do their own cleaning, prior to departure. Please leave the cottage as you would hope to find it. By doing your own cleaning and bringing your own bed linen/towels, the overheads are reduced - which is reflected in the price you pay.

There is a radio/CD/cassette in the cottage, but no TV. There are plenty of books (adults and children’s) as well as a wide selection of board games and jigsaw puzzles.

Please note that we have a strict no smoking policy inside the cottage.

We're sorry, but pets are not allowed in the property..

The rate for the cottage ranges from £40 to £70 per night - depending on the season. There is, however, a minimum charge of £120 per stay. The price includes all utilities and some firewood during winter months. (Additional firewood can be purchased separately, if required). We ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking with the balance due six weeks before your planned visit. If, for any reason, you cancel during the six week period, we refund 50% of the total amount paid but if we are able to re-let the dates, we refund all but the initial deposit.

For those who request bedding and bath towels, there is a £30 surcharge. Visitors are asked to bring their own beach towels.
